Hammond Patent Cast Aluminum Miners Oilwick Cap LampThis is a miners' cast aluminum oilwick cap lamp marked pat apd for. This lamp design was patented by scott hammond of freeport, illinois. He received patent no. 929,423 on july 27, 1909.
Lamp lid is stuck and i did not force it, whether or not to do that is up to hte new owner. Photos of all angels show condition. These lamps did not rust or dent like the steel, brass and copper cap lamps. See my website at www. Miningartifacts. Org.
